In the early 1970s, Gabriella Crespi began developing her first “metamorphic” tables, part of the Plurimi series (1970–1982). Around the same time, she unveiled a collection of tables and objects defined by the interplay of alternating bands crafted from contrasting brass and steel, materials that became hallmarks of Crespi’s design language throughout the decade.
