An excellent example of the design practice of Karl Springer this rare JMF Double C console originates from the United States, circa 1980. Part of Springer's JMF Series, it honors the legacy of French interior decorator Jean-Michel Frank (1895–1941) while paying homage to African art. The inspiration for this piece, in fact, goes back to Ashanti thrones from Ghana, blending exotic materials and geometric elements.
