Designed by Von Pelt Atelier and crafted in Spain in 2026, Mirror Vanitas reinterprets the silver-plated decorative objects that filled many Spanish homes between the 1950s and 1970s. Once symbols of aspiration—tea services, trays and ornamental figures displayed behind glass—these objects are revived as functional art. Composed of silver-plated metal and Murano glass, the mirror evokes the theatrical richness of still-life traditions associated with Benvenuto Cellini, Giuseppe Arcimboldo and Albrecht Dürer. Through light and reflection, once-silent ornaments return to life, carrying their histories into a new luminous presence.
