Carpet Patina
A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology, artist Rebecca Moses first pursued a career designing clothing before shifting to a career in painting and illustration. Her solo exhibition have been presented at venues such as Nilufar Gallery, Ralph Pucci International in Miami and the Isetan Art Gallery, Tokyo. She is the author of the 2010 book, A Life of Style: Fashion, Home, Entertaining.
Shaped by an abstract, multi-tone color scheme, the simple pattern of strips provides a reassuring foundation under foot. The arrangement of the imperfect lines call to mind a crosswalk and give a sense of movement.
