Footrest Chaise Maurice
Established in Beirut in 2011, the David/Nicolas studio is led by designers David Raffoul and Nicolas Moussallem, who today operate a second office in Milan. The design duo are known for their retro-futurist design aesthetic and \have collaborated with established international design brands, while also exhibiting their work at major fairs like Maison & Objet.
Based on a classic seating solution seen in elegant Lebanese residences of the past, the Chaise Maurice chair evokes a bygone era with its refined lines. The choice of materials – black painted steel frame, American walnut armrests and brass detailing – produces a vintage effect and the composition is rounded off by upholstery in leather.
