A graduate of Central Saint Martins, milan-based designer Filippo Carandini has previously worked as an art director at Baleri italia and Palomba Serafini Associati. In 2011, Carandini started his own studio with a focus on interior design and his furniture emphasizes bold color schemes, rich textures and subtle artistic references.
The split-level Tenet coffee table projects an almost sculptural feel thanks to its striking chromatic composition. Part of the New Pompeii furniture series, its multi-tone color scheme is painted by hand using a variety of shades of the same color to create appealing chromatic variations. The wooden structure is coated with a high-gloss finish to deepen the palette and protect the handcrafted surfaces.
