NILUFAR – MILAN DESIGN WEEK 2026

For Milan Design Week 2026, Nilufar presents a series of exhibitions exploring the many facets of living. Different interpretations unfold across a variety of domestic and temporary environments — from hotels to private homes, from intimate retreats to cosmopolitan pied-à-terre accommodations. Each context generates distinct cultural, experiential, and sensory dynamics, shaped by its own rhythm, intimacy, and modes of inhabitation.

The objects on display do not merely furnish spaces; they inhabit them. Through forms, materials, and narratives, they convey stories, poetics, and the identities of their creators. These presences establish dialogues with visitors, evoke memories and scenarios, and open new perspectives on the expressive and cultural value of design. The exhibitions thus emerge as open narratives in which living is understood not only as a physical condition, but as an expression of identity, desire, and possibility.

At Nilufar Depot, Nilufar Grand Hotel reinterprets the language of hospitality through immersive interiors and collectible design. The exhibition builds on a long-standing curatorial vision shaped by Nilufar’s founder Nina Yashar, who brings together distinctive voices from the contemporary and vintage worlds.

At Nilufar Via della Spiga, La Casa Magica, curated by Valentina Ciuffi with the creative direction of her Studio Vedèt and a set design by Space Caviar, explores the home as a symbolic and ritual space through objects that reflect on belief, domestic archetypes and re-enchantment.

Also at Via della Spiga, Le Pied-à-Terre Cosmopolite, curated by Nina Yashar, envisions the ideal Milanese pied-à-terre through a sophisticated domestic landscape conceived within an intimate urban scale. The project combines historic and contemporary design pieces in a refined dialogue of proportions, craftsmanship, and material richness, shaping a self-contained environment where design defines atmosphere and character.

During Milan Design Week 2026, Nilufar also takes part in Salone Raritas with a special presentation dedicated to blown glass, celebrating artisanal mastery and the expressive possibilities of the material.
