NILUFAR DEPOT: The First Decade
2025 marks the tenth anniversary of Nilufar Depot, an international reference point for design and visual arts. To celebrate, Nilufar presents Nilufar Depot: The First Decade, a book documenting the space’s journey with rare images, exhibition overviews, and critical texts by Annamaria Sbisà. Notable exhibitions include Lina Bo Bardi – Giancarlo Palanti Studio d’Arte Palma 1948–1951, FAR 2019, Matacubi by Pietro Consagra (2021), and Poikilos – New Forms of Iridescence, by Objects of Common Interes (2023).
To accompany the book launch, Martino Gamper presented a site-specific performance, reimagining selected design pieces from the gallery’s collection, transforming them in a radical yet non-destructive way.
