In her renowned Rising Sun series, Gabriella Crespi treats nature symbolically, elevating the reflective surfaces of brass and the warm hues of bamboo as emblems of the Sun. Mastering curvatures and materials to resemble organic forms, the lights irradiate from a central golden sun, the lamp base, which serve as the stem for a mushroom “Fungo” shaped lampshade entirely made of bamboo stems, completed with brass details. This exemplar has Gabriella Crespi's signature impressed on both the lampshade and the lower part of the base.
