DDL born in Milan in the 1930s, they have been working together since 1966 in the design of architecture, objects, fittings, furnishings and in the field of urban planning. In the 1960s they developed an activity in the creation of temporary furniture and architecture, characterized by the use of signs, materials and advanced industrial technologies: they designed and built a series of pneumatic living structures for the Italian Pavilion at the Osaka World Expo and for the XIV Milan Triennale.
