Anna Castelli Ferrieri

(Milan, 1918 – 2006)

“I always wonder if I am faithful to my goal, which is to improve the quality of life in some way.”

A student of Franco Albini from whom she learned the responsibility of the project, Anna Castelli Ferrieri contributed to the development of design with concrete and functional objects. In 1946, she founded her own studio and started collaborating with different companies, from the most renowned to family-run ones, such as the Pietro Crespi company specialized in the production of metal furniture.
