Vico Magistretti
(Milano, 1920 -2006)
“Simplicity is the most complicated thing in the world.”
Considered one of the most brilliant minds of the XX Century, Vico Magistretti followed a single and constant inspiring principle: the geometry of the forms. Thanks to his talent, he collaborated with a number of important companies, including Oluce for which he became artistic director and designer. Simple shapes, such as spheres, cones and cylinders, gave life to lamps with an essential and decorative character.
