Max Ingrand
(Bressuire, 1908 – Parigi, 1969)
A great master of art glass, Max Ingrand grew up admiring the windows of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Chartres, his first real source of inspiration. Through a continuous research on the acid etching and sand-blasting techniques, he achieved a skillful refinement. In the mid-50s, he was appointed artistic director of FontanaArta, becoming the protagonist of the shift to industrial production, while materializing some of the most original solutions ever made.
