Branco e Preto
(Company active since 1952 for about ten years)
The name chosen by the young Brazilian architects Miguel Forte, Jacob Ruchti, Plinio Groce, Roberta Aflalo, Carlos Millan and the Chinese Che Y Hwa for their design company literally translates as “black and white”. Founded in 1952 for addressing their need to furnish the houses commissioned to them with an innovative style, the company soon became famous for its high-quality furnishings and impeccable finishes that broke with tradition by proposing a refined and modern design.
