Luigi Caccia Dominioni
(Milano, 1913 - 2016)
“The design of a furniture piece has involved the production of my pieces in small series; in this way, I had the opportunity to rigorously control every part of the object, which I would later use in my furnishings.”
Considered the architect of Milan, since the beginning Luigi Caccia Dominioni measured himself with design. In 1947 he founded Azucena with Ignazio Gardella, the very first company for the production of modern furniture elements. In his models one can find craftsmanship, attention to detail and timeless elegance merged in a masterly balance.
