Caveau

The Milan gallery’s venue in Viale Lancetti, spearheaded by its ground floor Caveau space, provides a dynamic setting to explore boundary-pushing designs. Ingenious interpretations by gifted creatives include the recent debut of Colombia’s Jorge Lizarazo of Hechizoo, with his exploration of textiles involving the Chonta palm. French creative Robinson Ferreux has demonstrated his talent for pairing seemingly dissimilar materials like brass and cotton to make sophisticated lighting pieces.
New designs from Martino Gamper, notably colorful geometric mirrors, share the floor with furniture by Studio Utte highlighting the allure of red porphyry stone. Carefully integrated into the mix by Nilufar founder Nina Yashar to provide more depth are vintage designs by Brazilian masters such as Lina Bo Bardi and Joaquim Tenreiro.
