VINTAGE DESIGN LOOKS TO SUMMER

Summer sees Nilufar delve into its eclectic offering of vintage furnishings to showcase works which place importance on the role of natural materials. Exquisitely crafted pieces feature elements from nature (bamboo, rattan, wood) reworked into designs that project a timeless quality.
From the creative mind of Milanese designer Gabriella Crespi, who had a deep affinity for nature, are works characterized by intricate forms and thoughtful functionality. Her 1970s Bambù Collection boasts upholstered seating framed by an elegant base composed of rattan cane.
Turning back the clock, one finds side tables by Tito Agnoli for Bonacina from the 1960s in ash and woven rattan suitable for indoor settings. And from producer Dal Vera Antonio e Figli there are 1970s-era wardrobes and side tables deftly utilizing bamboo which evoke a tropical mood.
