Preview: July 6th, 10.30AM —12.30PM
Nilufar participates in the 12th edition of the traveling showcase of contemporary art and collectible design, Nomad Capri, with a singular installation that complements the interdisciplinary dialogue promoted by the fair, experimenting with various styles, techniques and materials. A large installation with new creations by Christian Pellizzari serves as the centerpiece; alongside it, pieces signed by the gallery’s designers and artists, all revolving around the theme of nature and organic elements, enrich the showcase. Nilufar’s founder, Nina Yashar, proposes a display thoughtfully conceived to harmonize with the poetic location of Certosa di San Giacomo.
"I’ve been desiring to introduce an installation with organic elements of nature as the key protagonist for quite some time now. The astounding context of Nomad Capri in the Certosa location served as the ideal opportunity, an invitation to develop a rich and concurrently enriching creative narrative between art, territory and natural landscape", says Yashar.
The installation by Christian Pellizzari forms a captivating display primarily focused on floral glasswork, featuring natural elements and climbing artworks that adorn the walls. Surrounding it are the new new sculptural pieces ‘Out of Nowhere’ by Anestis Michalis, the iridescent low tables and desk from the entirely-made of resin ‘Poikilos’ collection by Objects of Common Interest, a selection of ceramic ‘Artichokes’ candle holder, two stools and a long table by Lola Montes Schnabel, and the ‘Acquario’ mirror and console by Analogia Project.
