Gabriella Crespi
(Milano 1922 – 2017)
A unique figure in the panorama of international architecture, Gabriella Crespi stood out for her peculiar sign, so difficult to define. In her practice, she combined a skillful use of materials, ranging from metal to Plexiglas, bamboo and lacquers, with a masterful conception of her pieces which, through openings and closings, continuously change, while appropriating the surrounding space in an innovative way. A style poised between “spirit and matter, art and design”.
