Beppe Caturegli and Giovannella Formica
“The space of the artwork is life itself. Seeing reality in all its sides... The dark ones. One cannot do, first one has to see.” (BC)
Radical architects in Florence, Beppe and Giovannella moved to Milan in 1982 to work with Sottsass, Memphis and Terrazzo magazine. The passion for travelling led them to develop an anthropological approach to design questioning the industrial/crafts, global/local, mass-produced/one-off systems across a very heterogeneous work from bio-architecture to unique rugs.
