Piotr Sierakowski

Piotr Sierakowski graduated in 1981 at l’Ecole d’Architecture et des Arts Visuels de la Cambre in Brussels. Since 1983 he managed the design office of Koch+Lowy Inc. in New York. Ten years later he returned to Europe settling first in Milan and then in the south of France, where he taught at Bordeaux’s Fine Arts Academy. It is in his workshop in Bordeaux where the concept of unique handmade pieces of furniture originated.Since 2002 he has lived and worked in Rome. In 2004 Zamek Ujazdowski - Centre for Contemporary Art in Warsaw organised his personal exhibition.
