Nomad Capri 2024
Nilufar is participating at the 14th edition of NOMAD Capri, the premier collectible design and contemporary art fair, with an exhibition of works from Etereo Design Studio and designer Christian Pellizzari. Set within the stunning confines of the Certosa di San Giacomo charter-house on the isle of Capri, Nilufar founder Nina Yashar has curated a thoughtful selection of nature-inspired furniture and lighting designed to coexist in harmony with the historic venue.
For NOMAD Capri, the Milan-Dubai studio Etereo presents its Faraglioni and Carbon Collections, the first taking visual cues from Capri’s picturesque rock formations to create tables and consoles sporting organic lines made from cast bronze and glass. The latter collection uses bronze and charred wood to evoke primal forms that look to African tribal artifacts. Nature is again referenced in the exhibit thanks to a trio of sculptural lighting designs from Christian Pellizzari, who takes Murano blown glass and draws on shapes from the world of flora and fauna.
