Despite a background in architecture Derek Castiglioni likes to call himself an outdoor designer. In his design practice he combines hanging gardens, installations, design collections and textiles. His outdoor furniture, made of precious materials and unusual prints, invite an extension of the domestic space and reproduce atmospheres and suggestions from the past.
At the basis of his designs is careful research into sustainability, flexibility and the study of compositions.
